See what epic movies NOW TV has on offer this month!

Victor Frankenstein

Available from 2 October

IT. IS. ALIVE! The famous Frankenstein tale gets a retelling as James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe in this sci-fi horror.
As Frankenstein (McAvoy) and Igor (Radcliffe) conduct their experiments to create life, they run into inevitable problems…turns out it’s not that easy after all.

Black Mass

Available from 7 October

Johnny Depp. Benedict Cumberbatch. Kevin Bacon. Dakota Johnson. A few good reasons to give this a watch!
Set in 1975, James ‘Whitey’ Bulger (Depp) controls most of the organised crime in South Boston. However, as the FBI begin to close in, things start to get complicated…

In the Heart of the Sea

Available from 14 October

Shipwrecks, cannibalism…oh, and a massive white whale.
Cillian Murphy and Chris Hemsworth star in this retelling of the epic Moby Dick story, with the tale retold through the eyes of cabin boy Thomas Nickerson, who recalls the tragic events of 1820, where the crew of the whale ship Essex run into Moby Dick…with inevitably disastrous results.

Available from 21 October

It’s been too long since Sacha Baron Cohen last shocked and amused us all. Well, he’s back here as Nobby, the brother of MI6 agent Sebastian. While Sebastian is assigned to prevent an assassination attempt on a famous philanthropist, Nobby is encouraged to reconnect with his long-lost brother.
What happens next is difficult to describe in a way which won’t offend you…so we recommend you just watch it…but it’s not for the faint hearted.

The Danish Girl

Available from 24 October

This movie, about the first man to undergo gender reassignment surgery, was nominated for four Academy Awards, with Alicia Vikander winning the Best Supporting Actress award…and it’s easy to see why.
Eddie Redmayne (nominated for Best Actor) stars as Einar Wegener in 1920s Denmark, while Vikander plays his wife Gerda. When Einar is asked to stand in for a female model, it unmasks his lifelong identification as a woman. What follows is beautiful and well worth watching.

Available from 29 October

We all loved the Goosebumps books as kids, right?
Here, all our dreams (and nightmares) come true as the magic of the books hits the screen. Jack Black stars in this adventure comedy, about a teenager teams up with the daughter of the legendary author of the Goosebumps books, RL Stine, after his imaginary demons are let loose in a small US town.

The Dark Knight

Available from 1 October

“Wanna know how I got these scars?”
The second movie in the new Batman trilogy features Christian Bale and THAT performance by the late Heath Ledger.

Finding Nemo

Available from 1 October

A Disney classic returns to NOW TV in October, as a clown fish travels the length of the ocean to find his son…

Available from 21 October

Michael Cera and Jonah Hill star as two teenagers trying to get lucky before they go to college and the desperate (and we mean desperate) measures they’ll go to to do so…
